There’s no need to ask for proof on this claim, the proof presents itself on our screens everyday. No longer do the media provide information; in today’s world of instant internet news, the media have repositioned themselves as filters to the facts rather than reporters. The coverage of the recent visit by Trump to a McDonalds in Pennsylvania is just today’s example, there will be another tomorrow, and then another after that.
The news media pole-dancers are working up a frantic sweat, reframing the fabulous Trump appearance at McDonalds as a fail. Only a person who hasn’t see any of the flood of videos posted on the web would believe such nonsense. Rush Limbaugh used to call them low information voters.
Probably the most common misinformation circulating among the ignorant news media is that McDonalds issued a news release disowning the Trump visit. As always, any person who sees the facts first, then hears the news reports will be shocked and angered by the deliberate deception and interference from the hard left media.
The McDonald’s press release made a simple statement saying that they do not endorse candidates but they enjoy fostering a connection with the community. They also said that they had no proof that Harris ever worked for them and that she is welcome to also cook French fries. The media interpretation on this is imperfect enough to qualify as a lie.
The other misleading piece of deception claims that the Trump visit hurt McDonald’s stock. A Quick Look shows that it increased at first then fell days later, as did the stock for Wendy’s. Did Trump’s French fries wreck the entire fast food industry. The toxic Left make hay with these lies because they know that enough people will drink it up without checking the facts, simply because they enjoy the flavor of the Kool-Aid. The media do not inform, they harvest the sour fruit of the ignorance they sow.
